Yeah, they left behind the easy bake bops and have truly come into their own as artists, it's been amazing to watch. Can't wait for Ariana to join them in a couple of albums, she's already outdone their "sellout" eras (IASF & Loud) with Dangerous Woman.
Ariana is Taylor level basic (except without the talent and creative direction) she could never. Miley was the last girl i had hope for.
Speaking of Jigglypuff, can't wait for her next album. I want her to top Ultraviolence. Honeymoon was very good, she's found her niche, but I think she stayed too safe creatively with that one.
Your logic is so patchy & inconsistent that it ALMOST explains why you could idolize someone like Rihanna
But yeah, promoting/hyping a brand, then releasing a product is done all the time, I'm not sure why it's this difficult to wrap your head around. Also, Beyoncé chose not to expose herself to a wider array of listeners.
There's a clear difference.
Very true, that's why she attempted to send her entire album for airplay

Ariana is the one who is Miley's real peer. She has put out three very good albums and will continue to make amazing music and get better. She just needs to sort her visuals out.
I'm here for them getting that #1, but DLMD is way better.
Inside Out should've been their 1st #1 tbh. What a song. I remember them retweeting me on twitter when #SELFIE was a thing. They've come so far since then.
