Of course it is still up for debate because it is not an issue that can be settled scientifically. Most things in life are not simple and that includes abortion. It is something which many people have strong feelings for or against. There's a lot of philosophical, moral, religious and other ideological arguments for and against it that should be considered and weighed in. Abortion is NOT a black and white issue.

I don't believe in it. Life begins at conception there's no doubt about it. As soon as the sperm hits the egg, stuff starts to happen that's why I don't buy into "its a lifeless blob". It is a human life, the fact that people can be so careless about it is gross. However, when it comes to rape I can see why someone would actually want to do it. But if it was your own dumb decision to not use a condom then don't end a life because of it.

Gross? If you are not ready to have a baby don't have a baby. If you can't feed your baby then don't have a baby. Don't let another child suffer for god's sake.

For the first 90 days the foetus doesn't have a developed nervous system, which is what lead most countries to allow abortion up until the 12th week (and it makes sense to me).

It's fantastic and needs to be an available option for any female within the first few months of pregnancy.

No reason is required - if someone does not want to give birth, they should not be forced. Quite simple.
