Just like Vulpix, Sandshrew, and Exeggutor, Mudbray has a special form in Pokémon Sun and Moon. Mudbray in the Alola region adapted to the unique island environment differently than the Mudbray that live in their natural home region of Alola. Their front legs became arms, and their back legs became regular legs; they walk like people even though they are not people—they are horses. Some Alolans claim they even speak like people, but no one knows for sure since Alolan Mudbray are particularly annoying conversationalists and are avoided by most everyone.
