But isn't that the same with album and single sales? The writers and samples will get a percentage regardless so that point is kind of useless to pinpoint if what iHype is saying that he's getting relatively the SAME AMOUNT if someone bought it or stream it.

Hymns, Toothbrush, and We Don't Talk Anymore are all really fun. Glad they debuted and hope they climb more.

The charts are so slow w/ streaming sometimes. I still think it's a bit ridiculous Views is still #1 while the album's he's blocking are selling like 4-5x as much as him. I just can't view it as fair. Like I want streaming to be included but the current BB200 formula is pretty tragic.

I agree the formula needs to be adjusted a lil but its basically due to the fact that Drake's streams are an anomaly.

Hopefully everyone will agree that streaming's influence is warranted when sales have declined to the point where streaming is not just the preferred form of music consumption but the dominant one and sales are rendered totally irrelevant as a metric to gauge popularity (like what is occurring in Sweden, as blackbeatxx mentioned).

yeah, and again thanks to this fact, i really again want to stress how impressive it is for 25 to top the Swedish album charts for i think 4 or even 5 weeks, when >90% of new-music consumption here are made up of streaming
