Well you have to consider that his competition wasn't exactly enthusiastic. Running against someone with no name, a punchable face, a woman, and black guy (who looks half a sleep), Romney would have beat Trump.

Also what is the typical age demographic of the Trump supporter? Pretty sure they'll be dead soon enough. The youth will always be the future.

Bernie's direction, in my view, is primarily anti-establishment. Being "left" isn't the key trait of Bernie Sanders. He was an Independent long before he was a Democrat for convenience.

You can make incremental change back to traditional values... Making you a moderate conservative... You can be a moderate progressive, a radical progressive, a moderate conservative, a radical conservative, and other combinations.

Being a moderate and being a progressive are not conflicting traits. We've been over this.

Most of Trump's supporters are confused, I've seen so many people think he's "going to bring jobs back!" and "deporting those illegals will give us so many jobs"

Americans want jobs! They want to live comfortably. Most of them don't even realize that's exactly what democrats actually fight for

A lot of people are rallying behind him and a lot of extremists. He's awoken racist America and they've come out in force.

That alone just goes to show that the country as a whole isn't shifting liberal, especially with all the terror attacks and things, there's always going to be a divide between conservative/libs.

But yeah, majority of young people are more liberal, there's no telling how their views will change with age though. We can only hope.

What I'm saying is Trump isn't your normal republican, although he's said disgusting things, he's also made promises of bringing jobs here and I think that resonates with a lot of people. When they hear those kinds of things they do not realize that it's what democrats fight for.

Hillary needs to adopt most of Bernie's policies simply because she needs to give people a reason to vote for her, not only a reason to vote against Trump.

It might work this year but what about in 2 years, 4 years, etc? She's too attached to the old way of playing politics and worried about what the polls say. She needs to begin FIGHTING Trump and have policies and ideas that she's firmly behind and wants to implement so the base can get excited. No more of this telling people what they want to hear. All of this news about her going after Jeb Bush's donors.

And that's not me being anti-Hillary. She just needs to know that while she should easily beat Trump this November, her campaign has to be about more than that.
