Also no she isn't, both missy E and salt n pepa are far more successful despite female rap being such a tiny genre. (I think there are more successful pop/rnb black haired artists than female rappers )
Because Eve didn't work with gwen and make poppy records before nicki's career even began right? Lol at the delusions.
And yes it does, the lack of a grammy showcases that she doesn't have critical acclaim. I agree #1 singles are overrated though, but she has next to no impact on the rap genre anyways.

Nicki's the only one dominating because she's the only one making the right moves. Iggy was ruined because of ignorance and sensitivity and Azealia burned every single bridge she ever built by being reckless by the mouth. That's their fault, not Nicki's.
Even then, you have girls like Dej Loaf, Tink, Angel Haze, etc. who have all been accepted and embraced a little bit more just because of Nicki.
Eve came at at time where rap itself was still hot. Where you didn't really have to cater to pop to cross over. LMBYM wasn't some Britney Spears type of song. It's still very urban. Nicki came at a time where dance was taking over, and she got to where she is because she was willing to take that risk and do pop records.
And Nicki has outsold anyone before her in total record sales. She's performed at the SuperBowl, she's had a deal with Pepsi, a deal with Mac Cosmetics, she's had multiple perfumes, successful clothing lines. Pretty much whatever you can think of. She's done it all and done it bigger than anyone else.
Where exactly was I being delusional, hun?
