He was the Amendment King in Congress, so this is false

He's not going to win.
You still don't get it. DNC might help him get elected, but if elected Democrats don't agree with his agenda, he win't be able to govern or get anything passed in Congress.

And where will he find and groom all these angelic correct candidates?
And the -majority- of DEMS that take money from "Wall Street" he's just going to hang them out to dry then? Hoping the GOP doesn't snatch their seats?

- Bernie is not going to win the nomination. He will objectively and unarguably need to convince a large majority of super delegates to switch to his side, even if he wins all the contests moving forward. Not being a loyal, strong Democrat, they're not going to do that.
- Even in government, Bernie is consistently ranked as one of the most partisan members and he will struggle to get Democrat support, let alone Republican support. He'd make a terrible president.
- While he has great ideas, he's simply not compromising enough or well-versed in diverse topics enough to be president.

I do get it. You're just telling me stuff I've heard over and over again, and it's not going to change my vote (I assume that's what you want me to do?). You can say that about any candidate. There are gonna be Democrats that don't agree with Hillary either, but that's not stopping her from running. Her plan is more "moderate" yes which might make more people agree with her but IMO her plan is not enough, and her history shows that I can't trust her to follow through anyway.
There are a lot of reasons why I'm voting for Bernie and it's not as simple as if his plans are going to get passed or not.

No one is trying to change your vote. I hope you vote for Bernie in your state's primary/caucus (if you haven't already). He's who you align with, it's your right to vote.
Having a discussion or argument on politics does not mean that each person is trying to change the other person's vote.

No, I don't want you to change your vote, but I'd like to read some logical reasons as to why you're such a hardcore supporter.
Because don't we vote for politicians hoping that their plans become reality?? If there is no (or minimal) chance of that occuring, why vote for such an individual?

His pipe dream has worked so far, getting a lot of new people interested in politics and winning the youth vote by far. This "Republican Congress" talk is getting boring; he already knows about this.
|
So did Obama but the young people checked out as soon as he got in office....it's too hard to get people in general, not just young people, to stay actively involved in politics outside of an election year. He can't rely on that, he HAS to have a majority in Congress, especially considering the way he wants to overhaul the American economy

It's different ideology. Some people vote more with their conscious and who they feel aligns more with their ideal belief of what the country should be like. Others, like myself, vote from the stance of what can get done to begin approaching their ideal belief of what the country should be like.

sis, I don't think any of them will switch. The superdelegates in my state will stay with her no matter what. Bernie's not going to win. Not while shes nearly 3 million votes ahead

1) He's honest and trustworthy, the only candidate that I can say this about
1a) He's been consistent on his platform for decades, so I know he's gonna stick to what he says
2) He doesn't take money from corporations, lobbyists, etc which is a huge problem today
3) I agree with most of what he says like free healthcare and tuition. I don't care how hard it is to get done; at least he's actually fighting for it unlike everyone else.
4) I don't want a corrupt liar in office.

The internet is a powerful tool. Bernie could use it to his advantage in a way that Obama didn't have the opportunity too.

2) If Hilary is a corrupt liar, then so is Bernie.

The thing is though Clinton had arguments in 2008. Neither won a majority of pledged delegates and she actually had more votes than Obama too.
Oh, idk who runs Sanders' campaign but that person needs to learn basic math. Only two people have gotten delegates in this race so how is it possible neither of them reach the magic number in pledged delegates??? Like can you add and divide?
