I just finished "It Follows"

i'm kinda disappointed tbh i was expecting more, some parts are really good but overall... i don't know something was missing like i feel that is one of those movies that you only see once.

Hey guys I've been watching It Follows for nearly two hours now but when does the movie begin? It had a long ass intro and then the beginning credits but my file ended at that point. Where can I watch the real part of the movie?

Mess, it was sarcasm, I meant that the movie was a boring ass 2 hours in which nothing happened and lasted too long for the story it wanted to tell. It felt like an intro to the actual movie.

But I have my own theories as to why everything happens the way it happens in the movie, and the cinematography and ost was superb, so I don't consider It Bores a bad movie.

anyway about the movie yeah some part where tedious but i kinda changed my mind a little about being disappointing because the movie stayed with me, today i was thinking about the end and imagining what would i do in that situation, for me that's what a good horror movie is supposed to do after seeing it.

but like i said is one of those movies you only see once.

I agree, it wasn't the most exciting movie but it was executed really well. The actors were good, the visuals and the music. Plus it did have some really creepy moments.

I just watched Creep as per my cousin's recommendation and it was not that good. Relied too much on jump scares (yes, I get they were supposed to be comedic/build character) and the ending was so unrealistic ( why the **** would he sit down and not even look behind him? ). It built good tension in some parts but that's about it.

What would've made it a lot better and what I was expecting was if Aaron was the actual creep. When he was putting the drug in Josef's drink, I was expecting that to be the big twist and that he drugged/tortured people who hired him and had it all on video to get off on.

I watched Creep too last night. The peachfuzz standing in front of the door scene was the scariest one in my opinion. Of course it's a good movie but kind of disappointing. I guess musickid shouldn't have said it was the best movie in a while, that got my expectations very high.

Still think that The Conjuring, As Above So Below, Stoker and Sinister were the best ones of the last 3 years. Evil Dead was a nice one too.

It Follows is not your typical horror film, so I guess why some people wouldn't like it. But true horror fans should at least appreciate the effort.

It was a LOT like The Ring in terms of plot so it's not that out there. I did like it, but I don't think it's the masterpiece people are saying either

I looked up 'Goosebumps' (listed in OP), which is set to be released in August. It stars Jack Black. It's obviously a kids movie, not a horror movie. It's categorised under Action, Adventure and Comedy. So you should probably remove it from the list, OP.

It Follows is just a big nightmare by the protagonist. The whole film happens while the protagonist is sleeping. Do you notice how many times they mention her mother but she's nowhere to be found even when the protagonist is raped and assaulted in her own house? None of the parents show up. Another sign is the technology present in the film. Everything seems to point towards the 80s, but then there is this girl with the clamshell iPhone from the future. Then the amount of times the plot just jumps from one point to another without any sense.

The director definitely wanted to achieve this exact feeling but I don't think it's all a dream. I think the director or a reviewer said that the film feels like it takes place in a parallel universe and I agree, there is a sense of timelessness in the movie.

I'm pretty sure the reason the mother isn't seen is because she is an alcoholic. She is passed out when the stuff at her house happens and actually is at the hospital after the crash.

I also loved going through the TV Tropes sites of this movie, I learned some new stuff. For example I didn't know that people think that her father was abusive and that's why he throws the household items at Jay.

The Human Centipede 3: Final Sequence was total garbage. The 2 main actors were unbearable. To all the nonsense the director himself, Tom Six appeared in 2 or 3 scenes and to think that the government would accept such torturing is complete ********. Some movies just shouldn't have a 2nd and 3rd part or any sequels at all. A total waste of my time.
