Someone PLEASE recommend me some good horror movies!
I watch most of them but I haven't seen a really good one lately. Insidious 3 was alright and had some scares. It Follows was awesome and that 8 foot guy gives me nightmares but it's a bit overrated.
+ how come no one mentions the guy going to a hooker to transfer It to her before the ending? Y'all act like the ending was right after the pool scene
. I also liked "Them" (which I watched thanks to this thread)
Sinister and The Conjuring were the last 10/10 GREAT horror films I watched tho so it's been a while.
I'm okay with slasher but only a little bit and not too much. I LOVE great stories and acting (as scariness depends on that as well) and good scares and twists.
I just finish watching Identity for the second time. Anybody else stan for this one?
I'm really into horror movie with a twist and involves some kind of mental disorder

The Babadook was a good movie.
It had a great build-up and reminded me of personal experiences with my dad.
But the moment I realized who the Monster was I found it to be kinda disappointing.
The ending was cute tho. Overall a good movie with a great metapher.
8/10
Basically. It makes the movie a million times more powerful, but you literally want to murder them right after. That's kind of the entire point though, so.... I really can't complain

So any recommendations?
I was very surprised how good and scary it was.
The first scene
Just watched Eden Lake. Let me say this first- it's perfect and a must see.
Yet I feel like a piece of **** after watching and the way it ended made me feel really, really empty. It's such a bad and realistic ending that it just hurts.
What is that found footage movie everyone was talking about a while back about the people looking for Bigfoot? And they always say that the last 20 minutes is really tense and terrifying or something? I thought it was called Eden Lake but when I looked it up I found out that Eden Lake is about a bunch of kids terrorizing a couple lol
Everybody stop what you're doing and WATCH THIS MOVIE. I've seen pretty much the majority of the horror movies discussed here and this one beats ALL OF THEM.
This movie is for everyone who is tired of the regurgitated paranormal movies that come out every week. It's new and refreshing.
