As for protein, I bout some vegan sausage that was surprisingly delicious, been eating more nuts, tofu has a lot of protein in it. They also make plant-based protein powder for vegans. I've been meaning to buy some. I've also been cheating a little by eating a bit of plain tuna. But I mean, that's barely a meat imo.

Nah this is basic Gym body. So it's very attainable. I think if you just go to the gym this body should come along pretty easily. I always notice people with this body type.

I think I went a little to overboard and am having a HELL of a time trying to get back into the gym. It's really hard when you eat whatever food you want. Sometimes food is just too good....

What I suggest you do is find a really challenging workout and just keep doing that and then try to doing cardio after. Also try to find workout that'll target your area you want slimmed down. Somebody squats with a barbell will help.

I've started following the "Couch to 5k" running programme and I hope it'll help me lose weight. I tried different workouts before but I gave up on them because I couldn't motivate myself. This one seems realistic and it's also easy (and cheap!) to do because I don't need the gym for it.
I have about 5 months to get my dream body so hopefully this time I'll get there

Nothing could be worse than stuffing yourself with all this food going to the gym getting on the scale one day and be a straight one sixty then getting on the next week and been a whole bunch of pounds lighter. You don't know how bad that discouraged me and made me want to cry.

How long have u been working out? Coz if you're expecting to see drastic change in weeks (even if you go 4/5 days per week) then good luck coz that ain't happening especially if you're bigger/heavier

I've been struggling with motivation recently, for some reason. Which is odd, since it's the exact opposite as everyone else now that it's nice outside, but yeah :/ Been stagnating at 170 for like, two months now. Even now, I'm wasting time whining on ATRL procrastinating instead of going to the gym

In fairness, it's possible you burned fat but built muscle (which is heavier than fat) If you've been actually eating right and exercising properly, there is no reason why that shouldn't be the case.

I started working out (Cardio and Strength training) June 10th. It was the first time I've ever worked out and changed my diet. My BMR is 2,000 and if you multiply it by my physical activity which is 1.55, it equals to 3,100. I have to subtract 500 from that if I want to lose weight, which is 2,600 calories per day I should be eating. I'm 6'1 and 190lbs. I have no muscle, it's all fat
What am I doing wrong?

I know it's hard, but stay strong If you stop now, you're gonna regret it and it's gonna be so much harder to start all over again. Results will come, just give your body some more time to adjust and react to the change

It's okay, it took me five weeks to lose 5 pounds, with myself running at least two miles a day, 6 times a week. It takes forever for things to start happening.
But things you have to remember,
1. If you have never worked out, you will start building muscle at the same time as losing body fat. This means that your weight will stay the same, even though your losing fat. That's a good thing.
2. If your diet isn't clean and healthy, progress will take much longer.

Yikes.
What are your thoughts on CLA for fat burning? I was thinking about getting some, but am unsure.

How many calories do you eat and how many do you burn working out?
If you're really not seeing any results after a while, maybe you should go see a doctor. You could have a thyroid issue or something in your diet is causing you to swell. It's not always just about cutting down food, sometimes it could be a hormone or stress thing. Give yourself a good 4-6 weeks of good behavior though, sometimes it will just fall off. I'm impatient too. The waiting to see results is the hardest part and I promise it will eff you up everytime.

I ate 2,500 calories per day, I worked out 1 hour per day. I didn't gain or lose weight. I stayed the same. Although, I checked my diet and I realized I was eating too much Avocado, Natural Peanut Butter, and those organic Granola Bars I cut them out and I'm sticking with eating real food. Wish me luck this week!

sis Granola bars and peanut butter contain a lot of fats. Unsatured fats that is, but still.

Ummm, are you counting before and after exercising? If you're trying to lose weight, you should only be eating about 1500 calories a day total.

After exercise
So I should eat 1,500 per day? Even if I exercise.
I think you're right, because I was eating around 1,400 calories and I was defintely losing weight but now ever since I started eating 2,500 calories, I've been maintaining my weight which is NOT what I want.
