Ok. Maybe I don't know about the US but in the UK. I see with my own eyes that poor African Immigrant students come to the UK and still outperform British native born students with As across the board and if there was a language barrier the only poor grade would be English.

Centuries upon centuries of racial discrimination and disenfranchisement maybe? Lack of access to equal economic and educational opportunities?
We didn't/don't/will not do that to ourselves. White America ****ed us over bad, but I repeat, we are not ****ing stupid and I will just never accept that hellish lie that Black people and Blackness are what hold Black people down. That divisive mentality just makes it seems like we're just as stupid and evil as the White man has accused us of being. I'll never accept it. No.
An affluent, semi-affluent, or okay foreign immigrant =/= a Black child in an inner city ghetto.

I never got the impression that all or even most African Immigrants were affluent

You said you had African immigrants in your own school. I'm sure they did exceptionally well. I'm sure MCBeth outperformed her peers too. What are your grades looking like Clark? I bet they are exceptional. Do you come from money? So what separates you from the other black boys?

Every country has this problem to a degree. It's no where near as pressing in America at all. Don't even.

I know enough to tell you your comparison to Somalians is pretty offensive. You don't struggle with water scarcity, famine, children's right to education is protected, welfare etc. I never said it was easy but lets not. That's ridiculous. You're poverty baseline on a completely different level ugh.
