I talked to someone who worked for record labels and he told me C2C was planned to step her back into public positive image. She has her knowledge. Just because she defends the record by saying it was good and overblown in it's underperformance doesn't mean she'll do it again.

Cheek to Cheek is still a LP by Lady Gaga, that the older demographic bought, won a GRAMMY, and spawned lots of respect by her & an OSCARs performance.

She's an Electronic artist, so how is her working with Electronic producers 'going back to the same mistake'. RedOne did the productions all over The Fame / Monster. Zedd & DWJS were on ARTPOP. She's back with RedOne, and has yet to contact Zedd & DJWS. So how is that not heading back to a good direction and moving past mistakes instead of doing the same mistake?
