Well...they nominate her every year since her debut so let's not be that pessimist, she's respected, I mean, she's been nominated EVERY year, she will one eventually but only with a big hit in Q3. This is what pains me the most, every single year there's a new emerging artist that gets the Grammy over her. Adele, Lorde, and this year probably Meghan or Iggy. smh.

Yea it's kind of sad but Grammy's have zero effect on an artists legacy ...as that list proves. She'll be fine and her legacy as the Lucial Ball of pop music will remain untouched.

She was there in 2007 as a seat filler or maybe it was 2006... but she's been going since before the debut.

I personally hope she gets the Grammy this year simply because it would end up being the best 2 weeks of her career so far. Super Bowl and winning your 1st Grammy in consecutive weeks. Doesn't get much better than that.

Also, there's a very real possibility that she could miss out being nominated at the 2016 show, making it the first time this has happened since her debut. I say this because her tour is still gonna continue throughout 2015. Plus there's no real news of new material being released or a new album. 2016 could be a big question mark

So sistrens , I know the PRISM era has been the definition of a mixed bag. We've had huge, record-breaking success, amazing vocals, terrific outfits, and overall slayage. And yet we've had some 'WTF' moments, Johnny-Wujek-disasters, and some slight floppage. But let's hope we can close off this era with an amazing Superbowl show, her first GRAMMY, and 200 million for the PWT.

And there's always hope for the bigger and better to come... remember how Katy returned with a top ten SMASH in 2009 after Thinking of You flopped?The song that took 4 years to reach platinum? Yeah.... Remember how Teenage Dream ended up selling 6.5 million worldwide after a first domestic week of 192k? The industry thought she was over. Katy proves us wrong every era and will continue to do so.
