I wasn't going to give MTV any clicks this year regarding the awards but I guess I will now... For however long Beyoncé will be on the screen at least. Not trying to sit through 3 hours of that when I don't care to see most of the line-up.

Like... no offense or anything. I like Bey and I think most of the hate she gets here is ridiculous. I think she's by far the biggest star of our generation and is undoubtedly a future legend. But aside from "Single Ladies", what iconic videos has she done?  Does MTV just hand this out to whoever they want to perform for a ratings boost now?
Gaga and Eminem are more deserving.

no one other than Madonna really has many iconic videos if you really want to be literal
She does have a great videography with many stunning videos and I would say in the US...yes...they are easily recognizable
