First play is never a good idea imo. It just means you're basically leaking your own album a week early.
I was thinking why did they have the First Play for so long too. I know it created a lot of buzz and gave critics a chance to hear it, but it was out for like a week or something. Maybe they should've did it only for the day before if they had to do it. I know they tried to prevent leaks since there wasn't a global worldwide release date, but I still think they didn't use it to its fullest potential.

She should have done what Alicia did and set up a web-stream 'premiere' the night before the release date. Preview every song on the album and tell us more about it...and even invite some fansto ask questions etc. Then release it the next day

I remembered when Alicia did this and I loved it. I think it would've been a better idea because we would've had that interaction.
Remember when they were testing that live stream on her Youtube page and everyone got excited thinking she was going to do something similar? lol

People reporting innocent posts is my least favorite aspect of ATRL. I understand reporting when someone says something really terrible, but you were just having a convo with your fellow lambs and no one was hurt in the process. If they didn't like the convo, why couldn't they just ignore it and move on? Why is that so hard to do for some people?? Hitting the report button just to get someone a WP is so childish.
I assume it was reported for being OT, but I believe we're allowed to be slightly OT at times. I mean, who in here has not engaged in some OT convo at some point? This pressed goat has me livid on your behalf.

Hmm... I'm not sure. I always hear that it's a good thing since it gets people talking about the album, and if it's a good album (like MIAMTEC), it gets people talking specifically about the quality. I think in her case, it helped

There is one thing to consider when you are in a relationship with someone older than you. You should be able to have experiences on your own. Sometimes (!) the older one tends to patronize and say stuff like, "You will agree with me when you get older".
