She could sell it out, but then everyone would have to travel to Dunedin, which i don't see happening. Much safer to stay in Auckland where the majority of the New Zealand population live.

Stadium shows are awful though, even Arenas are a bit too big for me. I hope Katy is never big enough to do a stadium tour, hell, I'd prefer it if she flopped a bit with her next album and was forced to do a theatre tour. My enjoyment of her show is a thousand times more important than her ability to get high touring grosses.

I doubt her team would approve a stadium date, she can not even sell out Arenas in the UK, like

As a stan I don't get why people are so obsessed with stadiums. I would much rather see anybody in an arena than a stadium because arenas allow for a more intimate experience while still catering to a large audience. That's probably the reason why Katy and P!nk choose to do arena shows, because everybody knows they are the biggest musicians in Oceania and could easily sell out stadiums there without even lifting a finger, especially when Katy will be performing to an audience of 120,000 over her 8 nights in her arena shows in Melbourne alone. Selling out a stadium of 33K would be nothing. Doing multiple arena shows instead of just 1 or 2 stadium shows allows for a higher gross and a larger audience.

Stadiums are just something to brag about. Realistically, no stans would want to see their fav in a stadium.
