I think it's a bit more than that. Assuming that the 22% cut of wholesale number is correct (I remember thinking it was a bit lower actually, like 9-12%?), each copy of 21 is roughly $6.99 wholesale, and that total WW sales are ~28 million, that puts her at $43,058,400 off of 21 sales. But, her net worth likely a bit more than that (50-55mil maybe?) once you add in 19 sales, and also because she released Skyfall through her own company, Melted Stone Limited, and licensed it out to her labels, and did not let the Bond camp include it as part of the movie soundtrack...all basically guaranteeing herself a much bigger cut than she would have gotten on a standard iTunes single.
Nevertheless, Taylor continues to take in in major bucks not only through several massive sell-out stadium and arena tours, but also through her multiple endorsements and products, more so than artists i.e. Adele who have not done any of that as of yet.

It's always noted Musicians become rich from touring, not album sales. I remember TLC saying that they sold 10 mil copies of Crazy Sexy Cool. But each of them made only $750k, after they paid back the record label for distribution, music videos, studio time, producers, writers.
Taylor was the highest paid artist in the US almost $40, but 30 mil came from touring the rest came from streaming and albums sold in 2013.
I encourage the haters to view her videos on YOUtube, they don't know they are adding more money in Taylor's pocket. Vevo Certified 100 mil is platinum to an artist.

Taylor's not with John..i do believe John was her first mad love.. no one isn't going tell me IKYWT isn't about John. But she's definitely on the DL with Douglas Booth or Harry aka Mophead. I'm leaning towards DB. I was sure it was Mophead, after the Glamour UK interview. The interviewer asked if Album 5 was going to be about Harry.
Taylor" well an album is a chapter in a musician's life, sometimes you have wait for the book to be written." It was either it's not finished with them or he's not worth a song on her new album.
I'm totally for Douglas.
