Oh, I thought the discount only was on Saturday and Sunday. She fell on iTunes but if the discount is still on she should sell more or less the same this week.

YAI is so well written and authentic I really feel that song as I can/could relate to it and the song was so relative to me at the time. Born This Way is lyrically pretty epic as a whole, with some pitfalls, but none to qualify the album as awful. She probably could have knocked off a few songs and replaced them with some stronger ones, but the album is still an evolution! I love it.

Lyrically, I'd love an album that's at least 90% on the same level as YAI or Dope. Production wise I need something completely unexpected (like BTW) but epic (like PF). Slay me, Titan.

Imagine if she pulled something where the concept was as good and memorable as TFM, the lyrics were solid, and the production was six six six steps ahead

i loved BTW. as an album, a lot of it was very inconsistent where musical continuity goes (there's a spanish song here, a euro dance track there, a country rock ballad near the end and a Bad Romance wannabe in the beginning, the theme they all generally have in common is "born this way"). aside from that, it's still an enjoyable album and i listen to it a lot.

and i've said this before, her perfect album would be a nice blend of everything she's done but specific qualities that make each era good. the productions and beats that made TFM, the lyrics and thematic principles that made BTW, the general attire and fashion from TF, and honestly NOW the aesthetics and artistry of ARTPOP. all of this put together would make a really good album and album era.
