I really wish we could go back in time when she could slay the entire world like this with her effective dance movies and sometime sweet yet powerful vocals.
Now, I didn't wanna say anything about G.U.Y. before because I didn't want to rain on anyone's parade cause I'm well aware of the fact most of you guys like it, but that song should have never been chosen as the single. What's the GeePee suppose to connect with? Bottoming? The ever so important lack of CHORUS? Lazy synth riffle?
The video is something I thoroughly enjoy and it's my favorite Gaga video up to date but the song just doesn't do it justice. But there's a silver lining in all of this. I genuinely don't care about how she does on the charts anymore if the music is good and majority of ARTPOP is in my honest opinion.
I hope the next era is handled better though. Well, the part deux of this era anyway.
