Happy is definitely an odd-ball on the album... not really sure how it ended up on there. It's not bad, but definitely forgetful (I actually forgot about it during my listen this morning ).

Gotta Be You > Come Back Home > Crush

And yes, her voice has that sort of quality when she half-sings. It's good for the kind of stuff she does. The sax just blends entirely with her voice in In The Dark.

Hm. I've never actually delved into her album tracks. I remember meaning to and then her album got pushed back and then I sort of just forgot about her until just now.

But yeah, "In the Dark" just worked so well. It's a bit sad she never fully took off.

2) Barely promotes in the UK.

I don't get why she attended the BRIT awards and hasn't performed. I mean she just scored a #1 album and top 5 single, surely she could if she wanted to. Guess she wants to stay indie
