ARTPOP is a good pop record, I just wish she'd get her image together. She needs to be a little more high end all the time and a little less arts and crafts (referring to all those seashell bras and that overly teased wig).

I still struggle to understand when people put down Born This Way as an album. It is the only one (minus The Fame) that actually had a theme and stuck with it throughout and arranged the tracklist with the motifs in mind. It starting with Marry The Night and ending with The Edge of Glory - thematically - is so freaking beautiful considering what the album represents and who it was made for.

I agree, but there are some songs that shoulda never been recorded:

Bad Kids
Highway Unicorn (Road to Love)
Electric Chapel
Black Jesus + Amen Fashion
Fashion of His Love
The Queen

The perfect tracklist imo (I don't like Judas, but well, you like it):

1. Marry the Night
2. Born This Way
3. Government Hooker
4. Judas
5. Americano
6. Hair
7. Scheiße
8. Bloody Mary
9. Heavy Metal Lover
10. You and I
11. The Edge of Glory

It gets 72/100 then.

True, I guess many of her fans don't like the fact that she changed her musical direction and the fact that it's not really the dance-pop music they started stanning for. But honestly, it's her best album.

I can understand the other ones in some way (though I do stan for Highway Unicorn) but getting rid of Bad Kids would be getting rid of the backbone of the rocker edge to Born This Way. It's one of the few songs that doesn't take itself too seriously and fits perfectly within the album.
