Why not? Remember that "Lady Gaga is over" promo video? I thought it was kind of brilliant. But its a matter of how its executed, that was brilliant, however sometimes she comes off overly-vulnerable and kind of (sorry for this) pathetic. Its like I don't want to witness her wallowing about how shes being perceived, channel that sadness into your work and make something thats sad but fresh and creative. Make something angry thats fresh and creative. Work what you've got. Work with what you have in front of you even if you have a week to pull something out of your ass.
She needs to get her **** together, not rely on being self-referential (cough, VMA performance, cough) and show us that shes still a confident artist. She doesn't seem confident anymore and yet she must be to some degree or else she would've completely fallen apart.
When she was much younger she used to have a really strong NY accent when she sung, but in recent songs it's not there.
Like when she performed Gypsy on Howard she did the warbling.
