That is what I cant stand about this industry sometimes. Taylor isnt some teen fad who's soon going to fade, she proves that with consistent selling albums including 2 million first week albums. Shes proved that she's here to stay for a while but she's a white, non sexualized, female who also has a chunk of the teen girl demographic so she's automatically disposable.

and i said oh my, what a marvelous tune
it was the best night
never would forget how he moved
the whole place
was dressed to the nines
and we were dancing, dancing
like we're made of starlight, starlight
like we're made of starlight, starlight

If Taylor was fat/not conventionally beautiful, she would be hailed the savior of music.
People just can't stand the fact that someone who came from a middle-class family that wasn't broken up can be successful and popular.

I hope she gets a relatively strong boost once the tour hits London. Will it be the first time that the UK get's the same set as the US tour?

they can't accept that She's actually genuinely talented, smart & a great person. & the only dirt they can find is that She occasionally dates like any young woman in their 20s

I dont think SacRED will win AOTY mainly because Kendrick is a critics darling and Macklemore is new and fresh. She'll probably win for Highway Dont Care though

Hi all, I just wanted to introduce myself my name is Evan, I am from the United States, I seen Taylor in concert twice this year in two sold out stadiums. Ford Field here in Michigan and Heinz Field in Pittsburgh where I had pit! Best experiences of my entire life and I wouldn't trade those nights for anything else in the world. 2013 was the best year of my entire life for me. I had the chance to see my idol in concert after waiting patiently for six years I went to my first Taylor Swift concerts and they were absolutely amazing. I haven't met Taylor yet but I know someday I will, she's the best role model I could ever ask for. Her music helps me through every situation. Her music has always been a place of comfort for me and I'm so thankful to have Taylor in my life. Nice to meet you all .

I was in the pit in Pittsburgh!
I was the genius who decided that standing outside in 80-90 degree weather for several hours in a heavy, sweat inducing light up blazer was a good idea.

Plus once she's announced as the lead of a new "Gypsy" remake, the positive stories and universal praise and anticipation for it will drive Red sales through the roof!

Amy apologized, Tina said that she wouldn't apologize because "it was just a joke". A quite hypocritical one but whatever

I'm not a tina and amy fan, taylors not the only woman they've belittled in the name of comedy and gotten away with it.
the popular media is so two-faced to me, they constantly act all high and mighty about bullying, but if you are currently a popular target for ridicule, even if undeserved, they pile it on.
Also adding, i think they'll target Taylor again just because the media thought such misogynistic-styled bullying of their favorite target was hilarious, and to prove they are "bigger" than Taylor
To me, that's how Amy and Tina are

It's hilarious how they always play the dumb/immature blonde card whenever she is brought up. She is probably the most intelligent and articulate one out of this era's crop of Pop stars. However, I do think that that is also her downfall; in trying to perfect everything she can sometimes be over-calculative and that can make her seem rehearsed or "fake", for the lack of a better word.
