But in response to this thread I do not think Clinton will win the election but Christie will. Partly because I cannot see a lot of men in the US voting for a woman, plus the fact that Obama's second term has been pretty dismal and Christie is far from the staunch conservatives that have been getting the bad press.

Christie is too moderate for the far right. We already talked about this yesterday, and then I shared my opinions on him and teachers and then we had that whole argument. Do we really need to cycle it around again and repeat the last few pages of this thread?

At this point, I think a better question would be 'When will this thread die?'

Christie would be another Mitt Romney. He will say a bunch of conservative **** in the primaries to get their vote (like bragging about vetoing same-sex marriage), which they will relelunctly give after several months of trying to find someone else. Then Christie will move back to the center in the general election and be labeled as flip flopping.

His veto on same-sex marriage will haunt him. The public will support same-sex marriage even more in 2016
