On my way out I also found the paper the press got, nothing too interesting on it EXCEPT that the only two songs mentioned by name were DWUW and VENUS. Hm?
So Gaga was obviously fighting for me for Venus yesterday. So did Interscope just sit and do nothing? Oh noooo....they were prepared and surprised her, how? Well watch back the Q+A, Something is off?
The host said to Gaga: Ok this is the last question, Gaga answers is and just as the host wanted to translate it (and probably anounce the q+a to be over), the organizer steps in and says: Oh hey Gaga we JUST found 3 more questions for you! So what were those questions?
1st) Hi, I have not been a Gaga fan untill tonight, you really proved to me what an amazing artist you are. I'm really interested in the song DWUW you did with R. Kelly, tell me more about how it came about?
What is off? Well if you are not a Gaga fan why were you there? Second, neither in the press release nor EVER on the event did Gaga talk about the song being a duett with R. Kelly. How come this new fan just knew how the other guy was and wanted to ask her sooo much about it? You know how? Because she was hired by the record company!
2nd question) The guy that dressed like whatever, I don't remember his question but it didn't matter cause it was just to distract the fact what they were doing.

If Gaga wants to flop hard and to open with 200k with ARTPOP then go, release Venus. Interscope is trying to make the best desicion. The know that DWUW is relatable and everyone likes it, even the haters. They are trying to put her on top, where she belongs... or used to.. If she is silly then we will get venus.

Oh my god, how low of Interscope. 
I believe you though, there is no way those 3 same exact questions could've been asked after one another without there being some kind of purpose.
And I truly believe Gaga wanted Venus to be the next single too, her comment on Twitter kind of confirmed it for me. When that fan said they'd rather have Venus as the next single she said something along the lines of 'growing into a new genre is wonderful' which sounds like a back-up awnser to me. If she really stood behind DWUW she would've defended it like she does with everything.
Maybe we're all just reading into it but this struggle between Gaga and Interscope is highly possible.

The guy was not hired I can tell you that. He was just a drunk fan t hat stood close to us most of the time lol.
And yes we ALL fans actually walked down the carpet  But they didn't record it and it was 1.5 hours before Gaga arrived lol.

She f**ked it up with the piano version. Cause the CD version sounded quite different to me. I can see the meltdowns about Gypsy being overproduced. People switching to Donatella. etc.
I liked Gypsy a bit more than Donatella but both songs are great imo!

From the officially released tracks, SwineFest performances and ARTPOPRadio snippets, my ranking is currently as follows:
Sexxx Dreams > MANiCURE > Aura (original demo vocals preferred) > Swine > ARTPOP (with hee-hee's intact) > Do What U Want (except I wish R. Kelly had the third verse...I feel like he comes in too soon and takes up too much of the track) > Applause > Jewels N' Drugs (I'm sure the studio version will slay) > G.U.Y. (could move up higher) > Dope (as far as we know) > Venus > Gypsy (obviously could move up way higher with the full production)
I'd throw in Ratchet (even without lyrics) and CLLG somewhere around Applause/JnD.
