Why I think Gaga and Interscope are fighting over DWUW/VENUS
I know Gaga asked on her twitter why the change couldn't be her decision. But I def think it was only Interscope. Obviously she loves DWUW too but let me tell you:
- She arrived with some contact lenses, she looked cold, a bit like an Alien almost. To proove that she said during the Q+A that she has come as an Alien!
- Gaga played the album and came to the podest during Venus. Everyone was going crazy over her being there, she recorded it all! This will look crazy on video. I think she did that on purpose just to show the video to interscope proving them how much the fans loved the song and how much fun we had with it all.
- While DWUW was playing she was actually sitting, talking to fans most of the time, Tara was the only one stanning for the song. So don't expect a long video from that from Gaga. I think she also did that on purpose just to show no interest.
I see those things as Gaga trying to push Venus as the single. She also released 3 "shocking" "interesting" pictures to get lots of discussion. Don't be surprised to see Gaga perform Venus this Sunday on X Factor cause she obviously "didn't" have time to rehearse for DWUW and R. Kelly isn't available...
On my way out I also found the paper the press got, nothing too interesting on it EXCEPT that the only two songs mentioned by name were DWUW and VENUS. Hm?
So Gaga was obviously fighting for me for Venus yesterday. So did Interscope just sit and do nothing? Oh noooo....they were prepared and surprised her, how? Well watch back the Q+A, Something is off?
The host said to Gaga: Ok this is the last question, Gaga answers is and just as the host wanted to translate it (and probably anounce the q+a to be over), the organizer steps in and says: Oh hey Gaga we JUST found 3 more questions for you! So what were those questions?
1st) Hi, I have not been a Gaga fan untill tonight, you really proved to me what an amazing artist you are. I'm really interested in the song DWUW you did with R. Kelly, tell me more about how it came about?
What is off? Well if you are not a Gaga fan why were you there? Second, neither in the press release nor EVER on the event did Gaga talk about the song being a duett with R. Kelly. How come this new fan just knew who the other guy was and wanted to ask her sooo much about it? You know how? Because she was hired by the record company!
2nd question) The guy that dressed like whatever, I don't remember his question but it didn't matter cause it was just to distract the fact what they were doing.
3rd) Hi I have not been a fan from you untill tonight, the song DWUW ....tell me, what would you do with my body??
Oh what a coincidence, she ALSO has not been a fan untill tonight but she ALSO wanted to ask Gaga bout this song? I'm sure she was not hired by the record company either right? Wrong.
Gaga played along, doing the best she could and sang a bit. She gave in. But the fight is not over yet.
That's what I felt yesterday and that's what a few friends of mine felt too there. Either that is happening or....
...I'm just reading way way way too much into all of this
That's just what I thought. lol.
