I'll be honest and say that I wasn't even going to check for instrumental-lyrics consistency. It would be especially hard to do that if you decided to make your own melody for the challenge and it wasn't along the lines of what I was thinking of. I was just going to judge the lyrics at face value, but now I am not too sure if I can even do that.
Oh, and if everyone is willing, I will give VDK til 9 pm tonight to submit.

They had to match the melodies? I did not know that. And I designed this challenge.
No, that was actually a gripe of mine. When you try to match the melody of an original song, you also might have to match the rhyme scheme and the accents as well. I didn't knock any points off to anyone who did match the melody, but I did knock off points if you didn't do an impressive job of it.
