How do you feel that Katy might pull away with #1s on pop with her Prism era? I mean, I'm ok with that but half of me wants Rihanna to own the format. If only Diamonds, WMN, WHYB reached that #1 on pop.
She caught my eye with Unfaithful (which is one of her biggest songs here). I even remember how excited I was when I heard We Ride for the first time and how much I loved it
Umbrella and GGGB (the song) made me a little more than a casual fan.
But with Rehab (Live in Sofia 30.11.2007) I went "full-mode" stan! (that's right, a Rihanna live performance from 2007 made me a stan)

My thing with Katy is she plays it TOOO safe. Her songs are catchy and good but nothing moves me. She doesn't push boundaries so sometimes Im surprised by her success on the charts (especially when she dominates in the same areas like Rih. I find Rihannas number 1 songs like WFL or Umbrella more impactful and influential to pop music than Katys whose seem to be based off of mostly high sales) but then other times I'm not because she's so "generic"(I was disappointed by Roar because I thought she would try something different this era).

I LOVE Katy and am happy for her success, but I'm not even gonna lie, I'm a little pressed about her catching up with Rih. I'm fine with her playing the sidekick, but not here for her snatching titles and tying records, especially when Rih is heading out of her era and Katy's has barely begun.
Wait, Kodaline performed on X Factor Australia last night.
Maybe this is a hint and she really will be performing there.
When is this rumored performance supposed to take place?
- Because if its around the time she's supposed to be there for DWT I don't see why she wouldn't take the opportunity.
I'm kinda pressed at Katy tying with Rihanna on pop, but in the end Rihanna will remain the bigger icon by far.
The mullet is growing on me I don't mind it, still her worst style ever though.
I would kill for a Rated R throwback blonde or even black mohawk with the slicked hair, ugh slay me queen.

I wonder if she suffers from anxiety and it makes her feel safe or its just a habit. (I don't remember her doing that in candids from Rated R or GGGB eras )
