I mean, i know she missed alot of opportunities at the start of the year but used them for the tour (which worked wonderfully) but maybe the album just wasn't finished or where Bey wanted it to be.
She's clearly just taking her time with this one so 5 has the perfect balance of commercial appeal and artistic integrity. She probably hasn't released yet because she doesn't have a strong lead single to go on. At least she actually cares about the quality of her music and doesn't want to serve up some crappy album for a quick buck.
