It seems Applause is decreasing now on iTunes. Video doesn't seem to have a very profound effect.
It went from #8 to #4 in the span of a few hours, but almost everything is having a red update. Doesn't mean it can't still climb back up. If she continues to get these massive AI boosts and the VMA is a good performance Applause won't flop.
I will say her views seem a little disappointing though :/
I think it serves its purpose as a gaga video in the sense that it makes you go 'what the **** did i just watch... let me watch this **** again and try and figure it out'. I didn't like it on first watch I thought it was to all over the place but then I remembered its gaga and shes supposed to be all over the place WHEN HAS SHE NOT BEEN ALL OVER THE PLACE ITS GAGA. Like people can sit here and bring up bad romance- gurl bye that video is ****ing all over the place and thats gaga thats why we love her.
The video is very mixed for me. I love the scenes were she is in the cage acting crazy, catchy the knife with her mouth, dancing crazy with the sea shells and i love the mattresses scenes. But, I absolutely hate the scenes with her wearing that black hat thing on her head, the dancing scenes in black and white wear she is wearing that hand bra thing, the duck bird thingy and lastly the weird rising from the hat. I watched it with my mom and she said "she never fails to surprise me,". My sis was like wtf did i just watch. IMO it's not her best video, but she is half way there to getting back to her Bad Romance days.
