Well if we go back to when its popularity dwindled, that statement is correct. It fell so fast after being in iTunes top ten. And comparing it to the LMFAO songs today doesn't really show how weak it was selling initially, since they've both sold a ton more than it. The better comparison to prove that statement true would be perhaps how well "Pumped Up Kicks," "Moves Like Jagger," those LMFAO songs lingered in the top 20/30/40/100 after their peak compared to "WFL". I love "WFL" and it sold fantastically for Rihanna standards, but it didn't hold as well as I wanted it too after it was all over. I'm glad to see perhaps the VMAs helped it come back.
