Ok forget the quality of the video in general, you have to admit, in every video, Kelly looks so beautiful. Because of You, with the mirrors and the black background, Hazel Eyes in the forest and the wedding dress. Already Gone, she looked so classy in those gowns. Even in Dark Side, the green/black dress wasn't that WOW, but she looked great. Who can forget "Walk Away"' where KC went into smokin' sexy mode, and when she began in AMLT, in the red dress with the stage.
The band couldn't handle it. It sounded like a bad karaoke version. But let's not forget that Kelly works to learn these covers the DAY OF the show. Rihanna's down a full promo circuit and there are PLENTY of times she was less than great
That WFL cover was super cute, I don't know why y'all think it's bad.
I for one am glad to finally have a good live version of the song. Her voice sounded cute and not strained and the band wasn't that bad, it was just more rocky.
It was in no way BAD. But the instrumental took out the energy of the track because it was messy and there was no build up. Also, Kelly's vocals, although powerful, lacked the vulnerability the song needed. She sung it well, but it just wasn't special.
Production wasn't that wow with WFL, but still Kelly nailed it and slayed You know how it works KC has even said it: "Sometimes it goes really well (with Fan requests) and sometimes it's meh" lol

However, Addicted has been busy & so have I/I'm bad at graphics so there won't be any accompanying pictures to go along, sorry. Also I'll be revealing the highest & lowest scorers for each one

She's done the exact same runs for the past couple covers. I'm no longer inspired by her covers and WFL was solid but NOTHING compared to the original slash the acoustic versions Rihanna has done. And I'm not even saying that as a stan. It's fact. Kelly just powered through it like it was another one of her songs and there was no variation. I'm sorry but WFL was NOT a good cover for her. Y&I >. At least her soulful background took over and gave that bland ass song justice but Kelly failed to deliver on WFL. POC, yes, but not WFL.
