I love all the love for the queen on this site its amazing too see people that have respect for her and her music, shes truly underrated but all that is gonna change with her next album, i want some electro-pop, hip hop, house, pop-rock, r&b, one folk song, and some cute midtempos. i want some big collabos for this album too like: Demi, Nicki, Britney ( the two teen queens), Taylor, Eminem (neva gonna happen), Drake, Bruno Mars, Usher, and JB. I want the first single to be a catchy cute song like cmm and the video to resemble her iconic party in the usa video, i want the album to sell around 250K first week, and atleast 1.2 million in the us and around 3 million worldwide (i know she wont have an issue internationally) i want atleast 4 singles to reach the top 10 or 20 nothing less, i want her tour to gross over 100 million dollars ww, top 5 on forbes, and a metacritic score of atleast 70-75. i want her to slay this era and prove all of her haters (selenators) wrong.

That would be incredible. People will doubt Miley's potential after CBT, but I know she's one of the most talented people in the business and all she has to do is tap into the work ethic that got her here in the first place, and she'll be set. They act like it's completely impossible and unheard of for someone to recover from a flop album.
Mariah went from Glitter --> The Emancipation of Mimi
Madonna went from American Life --> Confessions on a Dance Floor
Britney went from Blackout --> Circus
All I want is for Miley to win back her US fanbase, expand her international fanbase, and as cheesy as it sounds, I want her to know that her fans are here for her no matter what.
Oh and careful with that last sentence sis.

I don't even understand how the Social 50 chart works, but yeah hopefully. She's been slaying at gaining followers these past few days for some reason. I think it's the new icon. The unicorn head must have been putting people off. If she keeps gaining at this rate she'll be at 8 million by the end of the month.
I just wanted to say that Miley isn't the Disney Queen, she is Da Queen. And as long as she makes music she will **** on every other pop gurl out there.

I hope we will get to know with which record label she will sign by the time her new website is up.
Btw when Teammileyny tweeted that Miley is attentding the VMA's, Liz responded that that's not all. So, is she maybe hosting or doing smth special?
Me too. I really hope it's Interscope. Brandi got signed to Interscope, and we all know Miley likes to be with her family.
I really want her to host, but the VMAs didn't have a host last year so who knows. But hosting would be great for refreshing people's minds of her presence before she releases music (and hopefully So Undercover ) But she was a presenter last year too with Dave Grohl, so I guess we'll see. Miley presented at the BBMAs too and Liz never really seemed to make a big thing out of that.
Wait, did y'all see she followed Diplo on Twitter? She seems to always follow producers after she works with them: Da Internz, HitBoy, Pharrell, and now Diplo (and Timbaland ) This ***** better serve us a hip-house anthem with all these A-list producers.

I don't think it has anything to do with presenting. I would love her to host the VMA's or to perform a medley of her hits. Liz never made a big deal about the presenting gigs. But this time she might do smth bigger. I really hope so.
BTW I approve Interscope but I would also love Def Jam or Roc Nation. Especially Roc Nation cause they seem to care about their artists.

she also followed Pop Wansel, Oak, and Flippa who have all worked with Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, etc. and she also followed Ryan Farber who I heard does dubstep??? and also MoZella but I have no idea who she is.

Did y'all see this in the Marie Claire interview? This makes it sound like she's going for critical acclaim this era. I'm sure she's exaggerating when she says she doesn't care if it's commercially successful though. At least she better be. I need ha to promote this album like never before.

Miley spent 4 weeks at Williams' Miami studio where they recorded a handful of autobiographical songs which she considers her best to date.
She is slaying me. I'm so glad she talked about new music instead of going on about her dogs and Liam.
By the way I edited the OP a little bit with what we know about her new album so far. Let me know if I forgot anything.
I actually think December is okay, even though it's so far away. If she released the single in October/November and the album came out the following month, she'd benefit from Christmas sales but her chances of getting a #1 on the Billboard 200 would be slim considering so many other big name artists usually release albums in the 4th quarter.
If they're already looking at a single release date does that mean they already have the first single recorded?

With the single being released in December, it'll gain from Christmas sales, so that's good. but the album will probably be released sometime from January-March, which is a slow time so she could easily get a #1 album, but the sales could be lower...

Do singles usually sell better during Christmas? I've never really thought of that. I'm still going to hope for more of a November single release, so she can premiere it at the AMAs, then the album in January or the last week of December, so she maybe benefit a little from all the people who go shopping on Boxing Day/Week. Last January you only needed a little over 100k to go #1 (against Adele, who towered over everyone) so hopefully that's feasible.
I'm really excited to see how the critics respond to this album too. I checked out a few female albums produced mainly by Pharrell/The Neptunes and they all had 60-70+ on Metacritic.
Shakira - She Wolf: 72
Madonna - Hard Candy: 65
Ashlee Simpson - Bittersweet World: 62
I want her to finally top Breakout at 66, but a 70+ would be amazing.
Pharrell Williams reveals why he wanted to work with Miley
Miley Cyrus is thankful her drug mishap made Pharrell Williams want to work with her.
The 19-year-old singer – who was caught on camera smoking the psychedelic drug salvia in December 2010 – is grateful for the highly publicised incident because it made hip-hop producer Pharell Williams want to make a record with her in order to set her ”free”.
The former Disney star told Marie Claire magazine: ”It was magic. Pharrell said, ‘Don’t be offended because this is how I talk, but [I thought], That b***h is actually living.
”She’s not sitting there with her Momager’s chain on her door. I want to free that b***h. I want her out of her cage’.”
The ‘Hannah Montana’ actress – who is engaged to ‘Hunger Games’ star Liam Hemsworth – said the pair had a magical time in the recording studio and Pharrell has since become like a brother to her.
Miley gushed: ”I’d never worked like that before. I was talking to him like he was an older brother, and everything I said was going onto the track…
”I got in there with Pharrell, and it was magic. Oh, dude, I’m so happy.”
The teen singing sensation added that the N.E.R.D. rapper has always been a fan of her talent.
Miley said: ”Pharrell saw me dancing to Madonna songs on YouTube when I was young and said, ‘I see something in her’.”
The singer is pleased a positive outcome has come out of the controversial video which threatened to ruin her career.
She lamented at the time of the incident: ”I’m not perfect. I made a mistake… I’m disappointed in myself for disappointing my fans.”
If this album does turn out to be really successful, it'll be so ironic to anyone who said the bong video ruined Miley's career. Pharrell knows the tea.
