do we know anything about her upcoming album? I need infos
She is working on it right now. We may know more about it on the 1st of Septmeber.
That's the date when her Website is going to be relaunched with new stuff and acoustic videos and let's hope she will give us some new infos once the new site is up.
She needs to get ha extensions in before I'm completely satisfied. The blonde hair is a 7/10 but it could be a 9/10 if she puts her weave in and styles it well. Of course she'd probably look like Hannah Montana, but oh well. Free publicity.
Chart News @chartnews
US Digital Tracks Catalog: @MileyCyrus, Party In The U.S.A. (main version) 5,837 (4,927,542 total).
I thought it was so much closer to 5x platinum by now. Billboard said it was at 4.9 million in June, so I guess it's only sold 27,000 copies since then. The fact that she still sells ~10,000 singles every week in the US while on a 2 year hiatus though.
At this rate it'll reach 5 million in like 4 months. I wish she'd promote it somehow.
Hopefully Party In The USA will reach 5x platinum and 300,000,000 views around the same time.
Speaking of downloas sales! Someone knows how many downloads He Could Be The One sold in the first week and as of now? It was one of her top 10 hits so I'm just wondering about it! Anyway Party In The USA *__* Love that song!

According to Mediatraffic He Could Be The One probably sold about 115,000 first week, and 71,000 second week before dropping out the top 40. If I had to guess I'd say it's probably around 700-800k? It was out around the same time as Demi's Here We Go Again and they had pretty similar chart runs (HWGA - #15 on Billboard, #1 on Radio Disney, HCBTO - #10 on Billboard, #2 on Radio Disney) but both were hindered by not being sent to radio, and I remember hearding a Demi stan say HWGA had sold around that range, so.
According to a Chart Watch article from 2010, Hannah's best selling song is Nobody's Perfect with 906,000. I would guess/hope it's at 1,000,000 now considering it actually peaked relatively high on Billboard compared to Ready, Set, Don't Go which went platinum despite peaking at like #85.

Thanks for the quick answer!! Well if Nobody's Perfect actually has 900k i think Lifes what you make it has like the same sales since it was #25 on Billboard ...
But anyway its good to hear that actually even Non-Singles from her are selling that good without airplay or anything like that! Thats my queen!
I'm so hoping CTB Album goes Gold soon in the US!! If you look at the certifications of her other albums and then you see CTB its kinda sad I mean come on its actually her BEST album ever.... Why are some US people so prude??

I honestly think Nobody's Perfect, Life's What You Make It, Rockstar and Best of Both Worlds should all be at, or nearing platinum by now judging by the success of Ready, Set Don't Go. But then again digital sales really weren't that big at all in 2006/07 so for non-singles to have sold even ~900k is really impressive.
CBT is probably eligible for gold certification based on shipments, but I doubt Hollywood Records cares at all. Oh well. Some of these girls would kill to have a flop album that went top 10 in 21 countries, sold 1.5 million worldwide off of one international single that went #1 on iTunes, top 10 on Billboard and sold over a million in the US + a sold out stadium tour that grossed $26 million off of 21 dates + earning $48 million in that flop year alone.
Can't Be Tamed will never see the success it deserved in the US, but oh well. I'm ready for the new album.
I wonder how Fly On The Wall has sold as of now! Sadly it wasnt such a big hit! But I think if it would've been the lead single it could've smash! The same goes to Who Owns My Heart if it would've been released worldwide...
I'm so hoping her new album smashes on charts! And I know Miley can do it if she makes things right! I hope for her 5th #1 Album and maybe even her 1st #1 Single *__*

I imagine Fly On The Wall has sold around 500-700k. That song deserved to do smash. There's a reason why critics said it went beyond teen-pop and even compared it to Toxic by Britney Spears. I guess it'll stay one of Miley's lesser known gems.
Miley would already have 5 #1 albums if Hannah Montana 3 had been released two weeks before its actual release date. She'd have 6 if Can't Be Tamed had been released a month earlier. I also wonder how Time of Our Lives would have sold if it hadn't been released in the middle of the week. It sold 63,000 off of like 3 days, and then sold 161,000 in its first full week. So 220,000 wouldn't have been enough to take Whitney Houston off #1 on Billboard, but still.
Miley seems to always release on busy sales weeks. HM2 vs Kelly Clarkson, Breakout vs Sugarland, Time of Our Lives vs Whitney Houston, CBT vs Eminem. Like who is planning these things.
The thought of Miley getting a 5th #1 album makes me very happy though. Even if she pulls CBT numbers again she could score a #1 on a quiet week. I honestly don't see a #1 single happening unless she pulls out a huge collab or something completely unexpected occurs, but oh well.

The 7 things I hate about you (oh you)
You're vain, your games, you're insecure
You love me, you like her
You make me laugh, you make me cry
I don't know which side to buy
Your friends they're jerks
And when you act like them, just know it hurts
I wanna be with the one I know
And the 7th thing I hate the most that you do
You make me love you

I thought of that too! I mean you cant release something when Eminem or Whitney is on the chart... But thats the stupidness of HWR
Gosh Miley is killing me with that 2 year break!! I want some news about the new album NOW

Yasss.
I realize I've probably said it like a billion times but I'm determined to get more Miley stans to join ATRL. I think I've just been asking the wrong people.
I love all the love for the queen on this site its amazing too see people that have respect for her and her music, shes truly underrated but all that is gonna change with her next album, i want some electro-pop, hip hop, house, pop-rock, r&b, one folk song, and some cute midtempos. i want some big collabos for this album too like: Demi, Nicki, Britney ( the two teen queens), Taylor, Eminem (neva gonna happen), Drake, Bruno Mars, Usher, and JB. I want the first single to be a catchy cute song like cmm and the video to resemble her iconic party in the usa video, i want the album to sell around 250K first week, and atleast 1.2 million in the us and around 3 million worldwide (i know she wont have an issue internationally) i want atleast 4 singles to reach the top 10 or 20 nothing less, i want her tour to gross over 100 million dollars ww, top 5 on forbes, and a metacritic score of atleast 70-75. i want her to slay this era and prove all of her haters (selenators) wrong.
