Yeah, I think that is the main point. Considering how overpriced her tickets are to begin with, she would have definitely still made a sizable profit, even with the added transportation costs.
Apparently that is not enough to warrant paying a visit to fans who haven't had a concert from her in 20 years.
I could understand if she was somehow bound to lose money overall from the concerts, but she's not. She would just have lower profits (that would still be relatively high).
