Guys... she is not ordering Obama to implement this right now, and she's not assuming that the problem can be solved in one step. She's suggesting what she thinks is a better way to handle things, and what can be done to progress towards this goal.

I agree with her but her facts aren't 100% right.

Health care isn't "free" in Canada, I believe the govt just pays for the essentials. Health care can never be 100% free because it costs thousands just to have an x-ray or a scan done. It costs hundreds of thousands just to treat one cancer patient.

EDIT: Not to mention, the population of USA is so large to be catering for full health care for every citizen, they need to get the money from somewhere. People always complain about taxes but what are they supposed to do, conjure up the money from thin air? It doesn't work like that.

Because there is WAY too much money that will be lost in private sectors. WAY Too much.

Health Care is the most stable and one of the most profitable industries in the United States. Making it free would cause it to degrade to something similar to the education system, so many jobs will be lost as less money will be available in the industry if it is mostly taxpayer/government supported.
