Yes, it did.
I remember once i had this mental downfall for a few months because of the problems that i have with my parents. I cried during shower and blasted the song. I just have to admit it, as a form of my appreciation towards Gaga and the song, It helped me to grow as a mentally stronger person although it doesn't fix my problems with my parents.
Hair did too.

Not really. It's pretty obvious if you're familiar with all of the allusions. The only thing most people wouldn't know right away is the origins of Alejandro, Fernando and Roberto. But I wasn't aware all artistry was supposed to be blatantly obvious? Gaga is writing from what she knows-- not from what other people know.
There is a lot of literature that uses religious mythology and it has been lauded. An epic like Dante's Inferno will make absolutely no sense if you aren't familiar with the concept. Does that make it bad? No, it just makes you ignorant. Ignorance isn't even a bad thing, either.

Not really, two or three songs gave me life, but that's it.

In many versions of the Betrayal story, Judas told the people who were coming to drag Jesus away that he would mark the man they wanted with a kiss. They would know which man to arrest by which one Judas kisses.
In the Judas video, for a second Gaga herself looks like she might destroy Judas with the gun and ally herself with Jesus (aka., get rid of the bad things in her life and turn to good), but then it turns out it's lipstick; she's actually aiding Judas in bringing about Jesus' destruction.
EDIT: And if we explore her more intricate explanations for the song/video, which I understand are too difficult for some people -- she's helping Judas bring about his destiny, aka that he was prophesied to betray Jesus... in turn, bringing about Jesus' resurrection. Because without Judas, Jesus wouldn't have been crucified/resurrected, which Christians point to as the single biggest event, like, ever. So (deep breath, stay with me) she's saying -- You may have to do some bad things in your life, but it's who you were meant to be -- ultimately, God has a plan for everyone and it's normal to do things (be with people?) who you shouldn't.

The whole album in entirety hasn't helped me, but some certain songs have. TEOG, Hair and Highway Unicorn are all self-empowering. I can't relate to the rest though.

See, people these days want their pop to be processed, thoughtless, and effortless.
Why do you think all the praise that Rihanna, Adele and Katy get consist of...

Whoa, omg! Like, what effortless slayage!

And you look at Gaga who works her ass off compared to her contemporaries, and she gets relatively little in return, as far as chart performance goes.
Born This Way actually makes you think, which is what I got from it.
Most people hate having to think.

So Born This Way didn't make you feel like being more proud or gave you more courage to come out of the closet as a bisexual when you listened to it?

She was helping Judas fulfill his destiny. Yes, betraying Jesus was "wrong," and "evil," but he'd been prophesied to do it, and without that betrayal, Jesus never would have died for our sins.

You can't deem someone ignorant just because they interpret gagas music in a simpler way. That's ignorant in itself

That's true. One of my friends actually got it and interpreted that way as well. So I do believe that's what it means. People are too simple minded/see things at face value now a days though.

"Ignorant" isn't the bad word that people make it out to be. It simply means unaware. If you refuse to recognize that Gaga has deeper meanings, and instead choose to just interpret things at face value, you're choosing to remain ignorant of those meanings.
