Nothing wrong with going out alone. It's funner sometimes to see who you meet that you maybe wouldn't in a group.

If you're wanting to hook up in a club you're better going alone I think. I've never done it but I think guys will be more comfortable to approach you if you're not in a group.

I think that a lot of people go there alone, I don't see nothing wrong about it.

The first time I ever went to a gay club I was alone. I had just moved into a new city (where I live now) and wanted to meet new people so I did my research and came across this club that wasn't far away from where I lived at the time so I worked up the courage ( I'm very shut-in ) and went all by myself.
At first it was pretty awkward, everyone was in groups and I was just there sitting by the bar having a drink but then a guy ( who is now a close friend of mine) approached me and we started talking. After a long ass conversation he introduced me to his friends and up until now I talk/ go out with them.

If you are an outgoing person you will have a great time since you won't hesitate to come up to people and talk to them. When you are with your friends you are much less likely to meet other guys unless you simply want to hook up with them.

If I was you I'd give it a shot, it's not like you are risking anything. If you feel uncomfortable or bored you simply leave and that's it.

Never. I hate them, too I'm a fan of the chase, so I tend to frequent bars/clubs that aren't targeted to us gheys. But don't go alone, unless that's your thing. If I did I'd have to be plastered (even more so than I would have to be normally).

I couldn't. I definitely know enough people where I'd be fine, but I wouldn't be able to let loose without my friends as a security blanket.

No, I wouldn't. When I go and my friends go to the bathroom or to grab drinks I feel so alone because everyone is flirting with each other or kissing each other and I'm just there watching LOL
