In the bigger cities basically no one tells you anything or really cares, smaller cities there are some where people would just stare and there are others were youd probably be yelled at or something.

Pretty much like elsewhere. There's very tolerant places and other not so much, sure there are hate crimes like there is in Spain or France but overal it's good for the gays here.

Mexico is a huge country you can go elsewhere, the border area is disgusting.

Dont worry about being gay here no one is going to hurt you, just dont do anything you wouldnt do in your country (assuming ure from a western country).

A friend of a friend who never crossed the border was okay with going to Mexicali with him, but more hesitant about going into Tijuana

I live in a small city in the center of México, Ags; and well, people in here is pretty conservastive not only in terms of homosexuality, almost about everything, it's not like they're going to kill you or something like that, but they won't mind telling it is not natural or against religion, stuff like that.

I was just in Mexicali last week! I'm from California but my family lives there. It is a fun city to go party in and it's not dangerous like TJ. Lots of hot guys/girls, great food, clubs, strip clubs ect.)

My really religious grandma was from Jesus Maria and lived across the street from a church We just never talked about those things with her because we already guessed her opinions.

Here, people go into Mexicali to eat drink party and the girls to buy prom/school dance dresses

A lot of crime happens there. If you're not going to a good place, mind as well not go at all unless you have family there or something.

As long as it's not Nuevo León, Chihuahua, Sinaloa or Chiapas.

Most of the other states are gay friendly and there isn't much crime. Mexico City has its areas that are dangerous but hey so does Queens and Los Angeles lol.

I took my Norwegian friend to a taco place in Mexicali and everyone was curious because he's very tall and blond and this man walks up to me and pats me on the back "Si! Asi es! Ensenale a comer tacos, ensenale!"

Chihuahua is pretty gay friendly. I've never had a problem here as far as sexuality goes.

They already have marriage and the adoption agency in the state says it doesn't discriminate.
