Michigan teens write racial slurs on their bodies

What they did was wrong and incredibly offensive to those that saw it. But then the media spread that offense to forums, like this, with black members, making the offense even greater. I wish people were smarter and dealt with it straight away.
No one wants to see a white person degrading a black person. Why does the media feel the need to report this? What can be done at this point? It's the responsibility for those at the school and their parents or guardians to resolve the issue and issue an apology to those offended. The black members on this forum reading this thread aren't receiving an apology, they're now outraged, and it's white people like me and many others that feel the tension and aggression (rightfully so) from blacks.

Mess at "feeling tension and aggression" kinda like how black people feel when a band of white people are out there using the word ****** freely. This deserves to be reported because it shows that racism is alive and well.

So, I should be held responsible for this group of idiots? I should enter this thread and read a handful of incredibly offensive comments directed at me, because I'm white, branding me as a racist? Makes no mother****ing sense. But it's okay, I'm aware that most people are dense and would rather media report this and offend thousands of blacks instead of a classroom. Incidents like this need to be reported when nothing is done and it's required that more people need to stand together against the act of racism. This is petty, high school behaviour, and could be addressed and dealt with by the people of Michigan. I'm in London reading about it. What can I do? Use your brains. If I were black, I too would be offended, further oppressing me, angering me, upsetting me, increasing the amount of anger and ostracising that I feel from white people. In actual reality, not all white people, like me and many educated others, are an absolute ****wit like this group of people pictured in the OP.

mess  gerl nobody is blaming you. As disgustingly racist as ATRL is in general, there are still plenty of woke white people here.  No need to feel tension if you fall under that category. We know all white people aren't the same.
That said, I get what you're saying, but I do think it's important to highlight stories like this in the media because it shows that racism isn't over like so many white people like to think. It also sets an example that this type of behavior won't be tolerated and that you can't just say these things and get away with it anymore like in the old days.

I actually agree with this, but I don't think blacks immediately hate whites when immature acts like this are broadcast. As far as what one member said about broadcasting stories like this, I feel it is a two way street tbh; it ends the "racism is over" rhetoric that some people have, but in a way, it also influences people to do more stupid acts like this, and it ends up being a cycle.
IDK, it is all a mess.

You don't want it reported because you don't have to deal with it. When black people do stuff they get punished harshly. When "others" do it, not so much... then they complain that the media had the nerve to report on it.

So now you're literally assuming that every black person who sees this is suddenly gonna be outraged at you because you're white, never mind the fact that black people have every right to be outraged when they see this casual racism displayed in this day and age.
