This has happened so many times over the years
I just tell them that I don't feel the same way that they do and that I'm pretty much gay. And I always feel really bad because I hate the feeling of turning people down.

Pretending I'm not getting the signals and if it's impossible, just asking not to like me.

I feel like most girls are indirect with their flirting or however you wanna call it. They won't flat out say "hey, I like you", they'll try to show you through their actions or body language. Some signals are harder to ignore than others (I've had a girl massage my inner thigh under the table, which was awkward), but I usually act dumb or try to turn it into a joke.

I do identify as bi though, so I don't do any of that with girls I actually like
