LGBT people celebrate pride parades not because they want to flaunt their sexuality every chance they get, but to encourage men and women that there is nothing wrong with being "gay", that they deserve the same rights everyone else enjoys and that they can be themselves and establish relationships with people they love, same-sex or otherwise. I'm a straight man (well, I'm really bi but I identify as straight) and I fully support this. Every time you ask, "Why not straight people?" just tell yourself to be thankful that you don't have to do any of these things to be heard and be treated like the human being that you are.
