Basically I know we're in the 2010's because every time I'm at the grocery store some Kardashian/Jenner is on the cover of every magazine.. Paris was the reigning queen in the 2000's, so that's pretty much the easiest thing that deciphers the decades to me and I'm not being sarcastic at all lmao

To me 2000-2005 were the post-90s. Like the last phase of that decade.
2005-2009 was the pre-digital era which started in 2009.
2010-? is/was the digital era.

And I believe that another era has just started, we're yet to find out what era it will be and how long will it last.
