What do you think when people say this to you? Honestly the first thing that comes to my mind is that they are casual listeners with no distinct music taste. Kind of boring to be honest.
Some people really do listen to most genres. I'm not about to blurt out some random genres if people ask me like "Oh yeah I listen to everything except drone and monk chants"
I think my point is that if you ask someone what type of music they like, wouldn't a non casual respond by saying specific genres or artists instead of something vague like" I listen to all types?" People who say that tend to be casual listeners
huh? So if we don't listen to Country we're automatically casual listeners and not full out music enthusiasts?
Country is so boring & annoying, I can listen to literally anything BUT country.
It's not a genre I'd want to dig into myself.
