News: Restaurant gives racist receipt

Valentine Restaurant apologised and promised to change its labelling but insisted "ppl" somehow means milk.

Absolutely disgusting to see racism like this in 2015. Hopefully he takes them to court for discrimination & receives some sort of compensation.

I would just laugh (although I wouldn't order a mild curry in the 1st place). Some people need to chill. With all the priveledges White people can get I think one dumb joke is a small price.

Racism is when you judge a race to be generally inferior or superior to another race.

This does not qualify as that. There was no judgement here, just fact.

White people and Indian people, in general, do tolerate levels of spiciness differently. Why would anyone be offended by this statement?
