Btw, do we even know the context? Maybe the person who went to eat actually asked for the mildest curry. It's frequent with western people, so the waiters specify to the chefs.

(Btw this is not saying western people always order mild curries and can't hack spice. I'm Asian and I hate spicy food anyway so I ask for it mild )
