some people have said in the past that willow and jaden should've had a tighter leash on them when it came to their appearance, and as of recently people are saying kylie (17, young woman with a fully developed body) is out of line for showing cleavage
so??? what is it, in both cases of wearing outlandish avant-garde clothing and revealing clothes?
I feel that as long as you're past your kid years, you can be as sexual and revealing with your clothing as you'd like. Its their body their decision, and no one should be calling them out for it.
In the case of willow and jaden I think it's perfectly fine. Kids expressing themselves through clothing is amazing, and who cares.
I think 16 is when it becomes "okay" to dress more provocatively but it's a bit more complicated than that. At the end of the day, it's about showing maturity and class in what you wear. Willow and Jaden's clothes never looked like they were being exploited and they carried themselves maturely. Kylie, on the other hand, does not.
It's just clothes, if they can tie their own shoe lace let them wear what they want. Girls clothing and their bodies are policed a ridiculous amount, even when they are fully grown legal adults. Only time people seem to care what boys are wearing is when they're wearing girls clothing or girly clothes.
its interesting to see the contrast between opinions when it comes to this

It's a difficult subject.
One thing I've always loved about my mum is she always allowed me to wear what I want. I never took it too far ofc and then I hear my best friend's little sister saying she's not allowed to wear skirts (she's 13).
If there's a kid wearing short shorts and you're is perving on the kid - then you're the problem.
in general I think anybody should be allowed to wear anything they want and feel comfortable with.
i don't think young girls wearing skits and dresses is wrong but it depends on the clothes themselves. obviously things meant for adult women are not appropriate but there are plenty clothes that are more grown up and still appropriate for young girls.
i'd say from around 15-16 it's okay to start wearing 'sexy' clothes, that's when they're basically starting to grow up and start becoming adults.
