Judging from the interviews of many black peoples, it is harder. But not as much as it's in ME. It's not a competition of course just putting it out there.

Black gays definitely have it harder than white gays. You think it would be the other way around though? Because of white privilege, white people really don't have experiences of racism, but since black people have experiences of oppression, you'd think they would be more accepting?

This is a touchy subject and not everyone will agree but that's just my two cents

I think as you increase the religious quotient you also increase the intolerance to homosexuality or femininity in men. Go to the deep south to an all-white rural town and try to be gay.

No it is not. You have a few bad Apples. It's not worse than people who typically vote for conservatives in the US. One only needs to look at North Carolina or the greatest advancement in gay rights that's ever been seen under any president is happening under the first black president. That is no coincidence.

Religious conservatives will hate you all day long and pass laws to restrict gay rights. Even the NAACP sticks up for gay rights and they are largely seen as an African American based organization even though they stick up for all minorities. I'd be careful about labeling myself an Uncle Tom. It does speak to the level of your ignorance on issues involving race and the gay community. Black people are more likely than not to identify with the struggle for civil rights and equal treatment under the law. I'd say they aren't any better or worse on the issue of gay rights TBQH.

As a black gay male, I'd have to answer yes. There's tons of stereotypical gay things white guys are allowed to do that black guys aren't, in fear of being seen as gay.

The black community is also highly religious & even though that's a small correlation, it's definitely something to look at.

Religious conservatives criticized Caitlyn also but many people ignored the race of those people yet want to believe Snoop Dogg and Timbaland and Chris Brown speak for all black people.

All this despite at least two of these people not being relevant in the black community for quite some time now at any capacity. No one looks to Chris Brown as a moral compass in the black community. These are entertainers not politicians and leaders in the black community.
