Apple’s smartphone share is falling across developed countries
Apple has seen its share of the smartphone market decline in January and February in seven of the largest markets worldwide. Over the past two months Apple’s share has declined in:
US from 47.7% to 38.8%
Japan from 60.2% to 49.8%
Germany from 20.9% to 17.4%
Great Britain from 42.0% to 38.6%
France from 23.0% to 21.6%
Italy from 18.3% to 17.5%
Spain from 12.9% to 8.7%
Samsung beats Apple in customer loyalty (Microsoft has little)
These numbers were generated in the fourth quarter of 2014. They represent more than 5,000 adults in SurveyMonkey's so-called Audience, which was polled to offer its views on certain brands.
iPhone has a 4 phones out while the rest have like 20+
Exactly, the fact that it's currently holding almost 50% of Japan's market share, for example, after like 7 months of release is insane, Apple ha longevity>
Samsung sucks. But it is cheaper so i see why y'all prefer it to iPhone.
Except for the fact that I just preordered an S6 edge and am buying it outright for a price similar to an iPhone.
But HEY, I guess you're right in the way that it IS the better deal because it IS the better phone.
Why do people always come up with that stale "cheaper" excuse when phones like the Note 4 and S6 are more expensive than an iPhone ?
Oh and most of you Meuricans got your iPhone either for free or just 100$ in your 2 years subscription, whereas some of us like me have to pay full price, so let's not go "it's cheaper" route.
