II mean she is a good vocalist,no doubt. But calling her better than Bey or other great vocalists makes me wonder. Is it more an overrated case by her fans or really her vocals are that superior cuz she has shown some problems in some of her performances.
Clearly. What's the point of comparing her to Beyonce, when Beyonce's voice isn't anything special, and she can't hold a note next to Xtina? Why do you think X always makes best vocalists lists but Bey's always missing? Christina's got that X factor with her voice while Bee doesn't.

She was born with a great voice, but unfortunately she doesn't know how to use it. Or maybe she does and she doesn't care about the quality of the notes she's singing. She's a pretty arrogant singer I think. Essentially, she yells most of her top notes.
For instance, here's Mariah Carey belting a top note, an Eb5 @ 3:17
It sounds full, resonant, powerful, effortless and with vibrato. There's no scratchiness or throatiness.
Here's Christina's @ 5:20
It's pretty thin and really scratchy. It's a rough note because she's pushing all the air from her throat. That's what Christina does. She tends to scoop her notes and she rarely belts them out, she's always bending her notes. That's because it's hard for her to sustain them with the "technique" she's using.
Christina's vocal abilities are great--and many agree, including Christina's peers in the music industry.
Of course she's hit some bad notes and occasionally she lacks control but at least she sings live & has soul and passion.
Of course I prefer Christina's voice to Beyonce's (as I'm an X stan) but both ladies possess distinct voices and i don't think we should try and discredit either's.
