Are you guys ready for the best time of the year? It's one month away and I havent prepared anything yet. What are your plans?

If I have the time its gonna be my 7th year doing the Best of.

Mine would probably just be Top 50 or 100 songs of the year.
Might also do top albums and top non-singles.

Of course, i've been doing it since 2007

I really wanna do one this year. Someone halp.

I might even make it the Top 50 of Top 40 if I can use some late 2014 hits.

This year, I'm planning to do:
Top 40 Singles
Top 10 Albums
Top 25 Tracks
Top 30 Films

Most Played Artists
Most Played Songs
Most Played Albums

And my normal "Awards"

I'm very excited. I just found out about this.

I'm thinking I want to do something like a Top 100 songs, Top 25 albums, and maybe Top 10 Music videos, and Top 10 albums i discovered this year but weren't from 2014.

Yeah but the section closed on like January 31st and you can't post threads until 30 days from becoming a member.

Usually the section begins to die after the first week of January so for maximum audience its actually best to finish around that time.

Though obviously there are some people who extend it until the very last day so they could get the most total views or replies

Yes! I haven't prepared yet coz I'm still busy, but I will start in December.

I'm doing:
Top 100 Singles (might expand it to 150 or something coz I think I've listened to a hell lot of songs )
Top 50 Artists
Top 20-30 Albums

And other minor lists:
Top Album Tracks
Top Recurrent Songs
and some other which I will figure out in time to come.

It kinda feels a bit surreal how after the end of 2013's I was looking forward to this year's edition and throughout the year I kept thinking about it, and now it has really been a year.

I want to finish it this time!!!

I have never failed yet to include graphics on mine since I started doing this but looks like this year would be the first time its happening

When does it start BTW? I still have a lot of movement in the upper region (like my #1 and 2 songs are within 1 play of each other) and end of the year recurrent plays are just starting to take effect.

Definitely doing one, Best Of is one of my favorite times of the year on ATRL.

Have already been ranking for Best Movies and Best Albums along the year. I also have some smaller stuff (Best Concert, Member of the Year) already decided and I have my top 13 Best Music Videos of 2014 but need to rank them.

Usually around 2nd or 3rd week of December.

Its really tough to rank the songs. Especially which song to put at #11.

Most likely the 2nd week of December.
